Global Reach

Supporting communities across the globe and in our own backyard.

Supporting Afghan Mothers and Children

Over the past few years, we’ve built relationships with the Afghan immigrant community here in Michigan. These incredible people have been displaced and we’ve committed to helping meet some of their basic needs.

Cottonball Children’s Fund provides diapers, hygiene products, formula, books, and nutritious foods to these wonderful families.

United Hearts Children’s Center: supporting children in Bawjiase, Ghana

All kids need support all year long. Whether it’s during the school year or during summer, we want to create a world where every child’s needs are met.

United Hearts Children Center is led and founded by Pastor Elisha Asamoah, who has been working for years to care for children in his community, starting with an orphanage and expanding to a school. United Hearts supports more than 300 children in the local community in Ghana.

Cottonball provides funding for medical care, school supplies, and healthy nutrition at United Hearts.

Queen Elizabeth Academy - supporting access to education in Mlali, Tanzania

Queen Elizabeth Academy (QEA) is a nursery and primary school in the heart of Mlali, a rural village in central Tanzania. The school was founded in 2008 by Kilines Sekwiha, a local woman whose own life was changed by education. Her vision was simple but powerful: to give children in her community—especially those affected by poverty and HIV/AIDS—the chance to learn, grow, and build a better future.

Since then, QEA has supported 12 classes of students through primary school. Many of these students have gone on to attend secondary school and university—milestones that are still out of reach for many children in the region.

Now providing schooling to 250 children, QEA remains deeply rooted in the Mlali community, offering not just education, but hope and possibility for the next generation. Cottonball is partnered with QEA to invest in their ongoing school projects and support teacher salaries.
